If You Really Hate the Search Key

So, I have had people express a dislike of the Chromebooks search key. The search key is that key on the left above the shift key where a caps lock is on most keyboards. Well if you are bothered when you accidently hit that key and the search window pops up, then here is a way you can fix it.

Start by going to settings:

Select keyboard settings :

You want to select the first box and click the arrow to access the options available. I chose to make the search key a CAPS LOCK because that is what I have grown used to. Although to be honest I never use CAPS LOCK ever. 

Once you choose the action you want to give that KEY select OK and you will be all set no more pesky search  key
